The Visualization

The Visualization is a navigable, three-dimensional view of the ancient world of texts — the works of the Bible and the wider ancient world placed in time, their inner layers and the physical manuscripts that carry them made visible, and any canon you choose laid over the whole as a lens you can move.

Ask it a theme in plain words and the scene reorganizes to walk you through that theme’s layered, sourced story — the disagreements kept in, not edited out. It’s the opposite of a tidy reference answer, and that’s the point. It opens in its own window so you can make it as large as you like (or a new tab, if your browser blocks pop-up windows).

It is very early. What’s behind the access key is a raw, in-development preview — unfinished, changing by the day, and a long way from done. If you have a key, come in and look around. If not, there’s plenty more to explore across the rest of the site in the meantime.
